Your experience at Lifetime Dental Care
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, dental practices around Australia have been operating at varying levels of restrictions. Lifetime Dental Care continues to monitor these restrictions under guidance from WA Health, the Australian Dental Association and national and state bodies.
The health and safety of our patients, staff, families and community continues to be our prime consideration. We have implemented a number of measures to ensure our patients are able to receive their treatment with confidence and with the care they expect from Lifetime Dental.
Upon Arrival
Pre-Appointment Screening: As a precautionary measure, we must ensure every visitor to the building is well and healthy. We ask all patients to please contact us if you have had cold or flu symptoms around leading up to your appointment as we may ask you to reschedule so we can ensure the well-being of other patients and our staff.
Electronic Medical History: In an effort to reduce passing of paperwork (and our paper use overall), we are introducing electronic medical history forms. These may be completed prior to your appointment on your mobile device or a computer. Alternatively, this can be completed on our iPad on arrival. We appreciate your cooperation with this and your patience as we introduce our new system.
Face Masks: In compliance with WA Health guidelines, face masks are required to be worn in the public areas of the practice.
Social Distancing: Ensure you are regularly using hand sanitiser (this is provided at various places in the practice) and maintain social distancing at all times. Signage has been placed to promote distancing in the reception seating area.
What additional measures have we implemented?
For your peace of mind, here are a few measures we have implemented behind the scenes for your safety. As always, we maintain an above-standard cleaning regime between each patient in keeping with our status as an Accredited Dental Practice. In addition to this, we have introduced additional environmental cleaning protocols.
Single Use Provisions: Whilst we enjoy spoiling our patients with a glass of water or mug of coffee, we have replaced our beautiful glasses with single-use paper cups to avoid contamination. Water, tea and coffee are all still available while you relax in reception. We also have water bottles available at the front desk if you prefer.
Pre-Procedural Mouth Rinse: For a while, you will have noticed we ask every patient to complete a short mouth rinse prior to treatment. This is done to reduce the viral load of many common viruses.
Magazines & Tablets: All books and magazines have been removed from the reception area, and any tablet used by patients is immediately disinfected.
